The all-new Jaguar Permanent Magnet Hi+ Series is equipped with the IE5 permanent magnet variable frequency ultra-high efficiency motor. The motor's electromagnetic scheme has been significantly optimized, greatly improving motor efficiency by an average of 5-10%, thus substantially reducing users' operating costs and contributing to saving their electricity expenses.

The IE5 permanent magnet variable frequency motor uses neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB), a rare earth material. Among contemporary magnets, NdFeB is a permanent magnet with super-strong performance, featuring characteristics such as high residual magnetism, high coercivity, high magnetic energy product, and excellent performance-price ratio.

The permanent magnet variable frequency motor is a device that establishes an excitation magnetic field through permanent magnets to achieve efficient electromechanical energy conversion. Like the electrically excited synchronous motor, it rotates synchronously, so it is also called a permanent magnet synchronous motor.
